Rocell Bathware exhibited its products to the market for the first time at the recently held 'Architect 2009', a highly esteemed annual trade exhibition organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA), where the brand took the market by storm with their contemporary sanitary ware designs and incited an overwhelmingly enthusiastic customer response, with many enthralled consumers eager to make Sri Lanka's latest design innovation a part of their homes.

On a truly victorious streak that emphasized the brand's commitment to superior performance and quality, Rocell Bathware not only won over the hearts of their consumers with their beautiful new designs but also charmed the judges at the exhibition with their creative stall design modeled and based on the 'Bathroom of the Future', winning the title of 'Most Innovative Stall' at the exhibition.

On speaking to Mr. Tharana Thoradeniya, CEO/Director of Rocell Bathware on the success of their launch, he said "It is with much pride that we offer our contemporary collection of bathware designs to discerning Sri Lankan consumers. We are elated that we have been able to delight the Sri Lankan market with our modern and innovative range and are extremely gratified that Rocell has realized their dream of offering a Sri Lankan made product that far exceeds average global quality standards".

With the contemporary and modern designs of Rocell Bathware being far superior to those imported products available in the market, Rocell Bathware is pitched to be a "first" in many areas; from being the first and only state-of-the-art sanitary-ware manufacturer in Sri Lanka, it has also been hailed as the one of the most modern and state-of-the-art production plants in Asia.

The Rocell Bathware manufacturing facility is equipped with a ninety cubic meter kiln, semi pressure casting machines, automated driers and robotic glazing lines, giving the company the ability to produce a range of sophisticated products to meet the rigid quality standards of the European Union. As such, the company's products are guaranteed to be above European brands by offering their consumers exceptional design concepts and quality standards.

The company's much acclaimed manufacturing facility also possesses one of the most advanced and well-equipped ceramic research laboratories in Sri Lanka. Holding a laboratory with the resources to conduct in-house R&D and product quality assurance procedures, the facility also houses a second product-testing laboratory that is dedicated to carrying out functional tests on finished products, such as testing dimensional stability, weight bearing capabilities, flush and disposal efficiency and leakage testing.

Rocell bathware has also tied up with a multitude of European raw material suppliers, including Sibelco of the United Kingdom - the highest quality clay supplier to the global bathware market - to source some of the world's best raw materials for its manufacturing process.

To further ensure that every aspect of Rocell bathware adheres to the highest ideals and criterion, exclusive design development of the sanitary ware range are undertaken by lead designers of renowned industrial design studios, Sisa of Milan and Modelli of Rome, who devote their highly esteemed talent to take the Rocell bathware range beyond mere architectural design to aesthetic masterpieces.

Elaborating on Rocell Bathware's production capabilities, Mr. Thoradeniya said that the company would utilize one of the latest innovations in the Ceramics industry by producing Fine Fireclay products in addition to vitreous china (porcelain) products, as fine fireclay allows the manufacturer to produce large format products in Ceramic. He added that this was the latest design trend in the European and North American markets and that Rocell Bathware fully intended to offer the same benefit to Rocell consumers in keeping with their brand personality of Design Innovation, Functionality and Quality.

Rocell Bathware will be available to customers from March 2009 at all Rocell Showrooms across the Island and will no doubt sweep many more consumers off their feet with their new aesthetic, ground breaking and pioneering sanitary ware. Setting new trends in the country's bathware industry, Sri Lanka's only bathware manufacturer seems all set for success!
