Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Harsha Amarasekera as the new Chairman of the board.

Having a formidable reputation in leadership that spans decades of growth across multiple key industries, Mr. Amarasekera needs no introduction. A leading luminary in Sri Lankas legal profession with a wide practice in Original Courts as well as Appellate Courts, his fields of expertise include Commercial Law, Business Law, Securities Law, Banking Law and Intellectual Property Law. Mr. Amarasekera was admitted to the Bar in November 1987 and took oaths as a President's Counsel in November 2012.

He serves as an Independent Director in several companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange, including Sampath Bank PLC, CIC Holdings PLC, Vallibel One PLC, Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC and Vallibel Power Erathna PLC as Chairman. He is also an Independent Non-Excecutive Director of Expolanka Holdings PLC, Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC, Ambeon Capital PLC and Hayleys Leisure PLC. He is also the Chairman of Swisstek Aluminium Limited and CIC Agri Business (Private) Limited.
